Metaxalone uses include relieving pain, tenderness, and stiffness caused by muscle spasms. This prescription medication is approved for use in adults and adolescents (age 12 and older) who have muscle spasms caused by injuries or other muscle problems. On occasion, a healthcare provider may use metaxalone off-label to help treat pain associated with fibromyalgia.

Metaxalone for migraines; please ask doc for details, please.
