Metadate and Kapvay is it safe for a five years old children to take both at the same time?

Hello lora16 83. I am not a doctor. I would not unless absolutely necessary mix these two given at the age of five. You hopefully will get the opinion of other members. You also could contact your local pharmacist who could offer thier thoughts/opinion. Best of wishes to you pledge

Have they been prescribed by the same doctor for your child?
Both meds are used to treat ADHD .
Kapvay is often prescribed as an "add on" to other ADHD meds.
Kapvay is only approved for use in children 6 years of age and older.
