I didn't start my birth control on the first day of my period, or on the first Sunday after my period (I tried to give my nurse the best idea of when my last cycle was but was not completely sure) my nurse told me to start taking it the day it was prescribed to me anyways. I am still on the active pills but am on my period, do I just keep taking them or do I start a new pack when I get to the non-active pills? I'm so confused
When i first started taking birth control i did that too,and since your on your period now when it comes time for the non active pills just skip and start a new pack and go back to taking them how the doc prescibed them,i know you dont want to have two periods in the same month so that is what i did, hope this helps
