Something has tto change cause I cant keep living this at 33. We have have tried many ofther drugs. Does anyone have any thoughts for me
There is always hope. I can tell you I have had a metal problem almost as far back as I can remember.
If I could tell you anything of value, is to try and cross checking the Meds. you take and see is any of them cause you to have more problems then you already have.
There are many good drugs out there, but all have side effect and that will cause them to have you taking another drug. The more drugs you take, the more messed up you get. Think about all depression drugs, have a warning on them. talking about you getting, more depressed mood, unusual thoughts or behavior, feeling light-headed,feeling restless, sleeping problem (insomnia) or trouble concentrating.
If your on more then oneDepression drug, you can see what I'm talking about. Get a good Psychiatrist and a good Psychologist.
Get your self on one Depressant and talk to a Psychologist. It will take some time to clean you up, but I think you will do better.
I am doing this right now and it is working for me.
You are one of God's children. I can't change who I am, but if I'm able to help someone else that would be great.
That may be Gods assignment for me on earth
God bless you and keep you safe,
don't give up. That would be running away.

Hi , i am 41 years old, I am bipolar and have different conditions 2, anxiety OCD, paranoia, insomnia. I know where you are coming from. @ the moment I´m on:
seroquel 300mg night
depakote 250,g night
klonopin 6mg 3 times a day
lamictal 300mg morining
topamax 50mg night 25mg morning
What the problem is you and i have very high tolerance levels to the drugs.
Before I got to this combo , that it helps but not 100% I tried many aother meds like:
@ the moment these are the ones I remember but I know i´ve taken more my memory is not very good!
Then with the meds I am currently taking as they were not doing anything my doc increased the doses... I felt great for 1 year but after that I started falling into a deep hole, they had a "bounce" effect on me --- meaning I started experiencing mostly all of the side effects ..it was hell... so we lowered the doses did some adjusments he removed some and added others and I am back to "normal".
I know how you are feeling... do´nt get so desperate that will only make things worse.
I have done a lot of research and have found that certain types of foods help, also what really has helped is working out, i train 5 days a week and believe me it helps.
Be patient miracles do not happen over night, you have to keep on fighting... not struggling you are winner... no matter how many times we fall we still get up and continue to fight... until you find the right combo.
My best wishes and good luck in your quest for I too have one.
Hi Jaxs, Bear in mind that when dealing with the chemicals in our brains it takes a while to get the right combonation of meds that are right for you so please stick it out. I know its frustring but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Are you giving each different combo at least 4 - 6 weeks to produce a result? Sometimes its suptle, one daay you just wake up feeling somewhat better. I would double check your Dr. on resteril for sleep and xanax. My Dr has always shied me away from xanax because is can increase depressive behavior is some patients. Resteril as a sleep aid does seem like a good choice. Keep the communication between Dr Ofc. and yourself, don't feel like you are bothering them. They work for you.
