I have always tracked my period and my cycle is usually 33-35 days and the longest cycle i had was 39days that only happend twice though, so last May, I had my period on my 23 day which I think is early because like I said I always have it around 33days or 35days and now I'm in 42 days of my cycle, whats happening, first time to happen, is it normal?
How old are you? If you are in your late 30's to 40's you could be going into perimenopause and this can cause your periods to be irregular at times. There are many things that can disrupt your cycle and sometimes it is just different for no apparent reason. This is one of the reasons the "rhythm method" or "calendar method" doesnt work very well. If you are worried about pregnancy then you can do a home test. Things like this are not that unusual. It can happen from time to time.
