M. I but it was scary I even used pampers an an soaked thru them it lasted for the 6-8 days it usually does an went off regular as if it was my normal cycle. Then on july 29th my cycle returned an now isnt as heavy an actually lighter in color an flow an Im scared could I have had a miscarriage or what can this be??? Please read this thru an give me the best advice to help me help myself..
It is possible it was a miscarriage but it is also possible that it could be something like fibroids. I have a large fibroid that is not operable unless I have a hysterectomy and I have very heavy bleeding and huge clots too-sometimes it looks like a whole section of my uterus pulled away (which it may have) then sometimes I have lighter periods that are more like blood tinged liquid, sometimes I go several months with no cycle and sometimes I bleed for a month then two weeks later do it again. I am also pre-menopausal which adds to the fun. Every period I have to use Depends diapers or I will flood my clothing or my bed. An overnight pad just isnt enough, I can soak one end to end in an hour. You need to do what I did and see your GYN and get a thorough exam. I had a uterine ultrasound, blood work and uterine biopsy and everything seems to be okay-no cancer or anything like that other than the very large fibroid so I am left with the decision to either get a hysterectomy or wait it out til menopause, when that happens, the bleeding will stop and lack of hormones will shrink the fibroid. I am doing watchful waiting but time will tell. I am getting closer to having had enough, I can tell you! Go see your GYN, they will be able to tell you if it was a miscarriage and if it was you may need a D&C if there is any retained tissue it can make you bleed heavily and irregular. The only way to know what is going on is to go and get an exam-good luck!
