- subutex, menstrual disorders, opiate, cramp
I've been on subutex for two weeks now, and even though I knew this day would come, it is here and I am feeling anxious. My DOC was/is opiates, and when I would start my "cycle" every month, I counted on them religiously to take away my pain, which is thru the roof right now. I'm taking midol and ibuprofen but nothing is helping me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
When I had my period, we didn't have much to take. The heating pad and I became best friends. Aleve may help better then ibuprofen.
I have/had terrible back cramps during my period, heating pad or soaking in a warm/hot tub helps...
Try to take your ibuprofen or aleve before the cramps start, and then take them every six hours or whatever the directions on the bottle indicate.
It really will help.
Not even with a ten foot pole will I try to answer this question. just let me say that me and my gf have a pretty good cure for them. See,I said too much already... pete
I commented on this last night, but my internet sux right now so it didn't go through! But anyway... I asked you if you have even been checked for Endometriosis? I had that until I had surgery, and it can cause very painful periods!! Just curious... :)
