It isn't contraindicated in high blood pressure.

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents including Meloxicam and Diclofenac can raise blood pressure in some people. Some people with known high blood pressure may have to stop taking NSAIDs, if they notice their blood pressure increases. If you are taking antihypertension medication consult your health care provider before taking meloxicam or diclofenac.

suzanne is correct. Some people have further elevation of their B/P when they take NSAIDS. I have hypertension (high B/P) and I can take Meloxicam just fine but some people's blood pressure elevates too much. Talk to your Dr about your options and maybe a trial watching your B/P while trying the medication to see if it elevates. free discount card
