Melatonin used to work for me in the past now intake 18mg and it does nothing for me. I feel tired all day and dont know what to do to sleep. I dont want to try sleeping pills and wondered if anyone had any suggestions.
Take a few days off from taking it. When taken several days in a row it will lose affect. When I get to a point when 10mg does nothing for me I take a few days off and when I go back to it 2mg will have more affect than the 10mg I was taking before. There are other supplements that can help also(L-theanine is one that is supposed to help), look into them to substitute while you lower your melatonin tolerance.
