my doctor gave me a script for hydrocodone 7.5 which don't do much for my pain when those are finished he gave me a script for ultram i have taken those in the past and they don't even get close to my pain. what am i supposed to do now?
There is a trick to treating chronic pain. You are not trying to get rid of pain, you are trying to prevent it. You have to take the medication before your pain gets bad. This is particularly true with ultram. You can't take it once you have pain, you have to take it on a regular basis. It won't get rid of bad pain, but it can help prevent it. How much ultram did he order?
ultram is just a little better than nothing. when dr dropped you to ultram they r pretty much saying live with pain. you probably wont get much help from that dr. i would ask dr. for something stronger. if they dont, u might have to switch drs. i havent had much luck with that yet. good luck.
