What medicine can you use to produce more sperm count on men?
The two most common prescriptions for low sperm count are Clomiphene and human menopausal gonadatropin when combined with human chorionic growth hormone.
Clomiphene is an oral pills taken daily.
HmG/HcG is an injection taken 2-3 times per week.
Some herbs, dietary supplementation, certain vitamins, minerals and amino-acids may improve sperm count or sperm quality. This is NOT proven by clinical trials nor approved by the FDA for treatment of disease.
Talk to your doctor before taking any herbal remedies or supplements, as some can cause harm when taken in high doses (megadoses) or for extended periods of time. Many also interact with other medications and care needs to be taken to avoid causing harm to yourself or others.
