i have had a migraine for eight years everyday it never goes away. I also have a tens unit in my head and that has givien me the ability to brush my hair now, but not with any pain. I have even tried shrooms and acid to see if anything might touch it. i did not get anything on either of them. i was the only one NOT, NOT high or even relaxed. i asked the ones i gotten it from and they went to the hospital and i ate WAY MORE than they did. I don't know what else to do. Im loosing it.
I am sorry for your suffering. BUT... I have the same pain. I have had this head and scalp pain since 2006. I too have tried every single med there is, and NOTHING gets rid of it. I cannot live. I never in a million years thought I would meet another with this. I have taken every narcotic as well. I have been to numerous Doctors too. I too live in constant, severe pain, 24/7 it NEVER lets up. Please keep in touch with me. Maybe we can help each other.
I'm assuming you've tried all of the drugs specifically designed for migraines, and that they've failed. There is something other than drugs that may or may not be available for killing migraine pain. I'm referring to a brain neurostimulator with technology way beyond a TENS unit. I'm guessing most folks who are aware of this technology are more familiar with SCS (spinal cord stimulators), but the approach is similar. Electrical leads and a programmable control module generate an electrical signal that is designed to mask the pain area. If you haven't already been down this road, I'd consider starting with either a neurologist or a neurosurgeon. There is a lot of information on the Internet about these devices too. One last thing: I'm also assuming your brain has been scanned for any physiological problems. Best wishes. Doug

Migraines - my P.A. wants me off Vicodin. It's the only pain medication that helps. Any suggestions?
