... gave me a prednisone shot. The next day the red swollen hive under one eye got much worse. Later this evening the other eye got worse also. My eye doctor is out of town and a resident I don't know gave me this antibiotic to replace azisite I had been taking for years but the Walgreens in my area cannot get it anymore. I am leary of calling any of these residents. What should I do? I have blepharatis. My eyes are burning around the lower rims
My eye doctor told me to bathe my eyes twice daily, using a weak solution of, for example, baby shampoo. He told me to use hot water [with the baby shampoo], as hot as I could stand to use and soak the cloth in it, wring it out and put it on my eyes until it cools down. Repeat 2 or 3 times twice daily. This soothes the eyes and also helps to clear the Blepharitis. My eyes are now much more comfortable.
Is Bleph-10 available in single use eye drops? Again, my doctor prescribes single use drops for whatever drops I need because I am allergic to some of the other ingredients in the eye drops, like preservatives.
I hope this helps.
