My son is on Adderall which makes his OCD worse, but when we added Lexapro, he went back to getting zero work done in class, and can only get maybe 1 or 2 sheets of work, only odd problems done at home at night, not enough for a high school student. We have another appt today, and I really need to know if anyone has had success with a medication for OCD that does not completely take the effects away from the Adderall?
shelliemmarie These are always hard ones like the ones for OCD Amost all need4 to 6 weeks to reach blood level where they help so its kind of a hit and miss he well get some relief earlier but not alot..I had seen lot's of kids on prozac,or zoloft used with some sucess and a bit faster you may ask the Doctor if you could try one of these..but same thing they are some of the original ones for ocd they sometimes kick in a bit faster or part of them wish you luck..Chuck1957
