Mecobalamin is a form of Vitamin B12 and has been assigned to FDA pregnancy category C. This means that it has shown adverse effects in animal studies and there are no human studies. It may however be taken during pregnancy if the benefit to the mother is greater than the risk to the baby. You are best to talk to your doctor and make a decision together.
