What does it mean when a black and blue mark from an abblasion surgery mean when it becomes painful?

after one week of surgery? It was doing fine until just now. The site is warm to the touch and sore.
I'm assuming you had abblasion of the uterus from a GYN doctor. If any incisional site is hot, red and very tender, those may be signs of an infection. Ask your doctor at your next post op appt.
You need to contact your surgeon and let him know. Things should be getting better, not worse.
