... time but i always start to feel like ill start my period no matter what time of the month it is, so i start taking them again. i was wondering how to completely get off of them? thank you for your time
You need to stop the pill's completely if you are trying to get pregnant. By taking the pill you are protecting yourself from getting pregnant as the pill is preventing your body from releasing the egg to fertilise in order for you to be able to concieve.
Hope this helps.
Best of luck and take care
You are really messing your system up by taking the Pill sporadically. Either take it or dont. If you want to get pregnant you should stop the Pill at the end of a pack. You dont have to take the fourth week of inert pills because they are just sugar pills designed to get you to remember to take a pill each day. They do recommend that you be off the Pill 6 months before you conceive. This gives your system time to normalize and begin ovulating normally again. You may find that your periods take a while to regulate into a cycle you can predict and also they will be heavier and you may get more cramping off the Pill. this is normal and will get better.
