You have to give it sometime and sometimes they put you on tricyclie antidepressant to help with pain and depression. A lot of ppl who have chonic pain are depressed.

It can be the pain medicine too. Opioids can cause one to feel like they are tired, with no energy. Your body will probably get used to this in time and you will feel normal again. Like factfinder says, depression is common with chronic pain and they may need to give you an antidepressant to boost your mood.
