I have a mass on my left breast that is causing me severe pain I only weigh 92 pounds, but my doctor prescribed tramadol 50 mg, but it's doing nothing for me, I'm on clonazepam and Zoloft and Lunesta, and amitriptyline can I take more than one tramadol?
Tiffany; No not until you call the doctor and get the doctor to say what to do otherwise you end up in trouble or could easily take to much with all the other medication you're taking sorry but better being safe than sorry. Please take it as prescribed on the bottle until you can reach the doctor. Also, Tramadol for some is very hard to get off of once you have been on it for long or in high doses. Hope you get to feeling better. Chuck1957
I'm confused about your concerns.
A breast lump is frightening. What did the doctor tell you about the mass.
Luckily, a malignant mass is usually not painful. It's why women don't notice the cancerous lump because there is no warning signs.
This is going to sound strange...
Pain is actually a good thing. It's a warning signal that something is wrong with your body.
What was the diagnosis given to you regarding the lump? Did they do a biopsy?
Does the pain worsen when you take a deep breath in or a cough ?
You are underweight. Did you have weight loss over the last 6 months?
How is your appetite?
I'm more concerned with the number of drugs you are taking which may be an interaction or side effects.
Not counting the Tramadol, do you feel more in balance than before the meds?
You have several issues going on that only your doctor can explain.
I'm sorry you are going through the pain but the other meds may be affecting your ability to cope with the pain.
You need your doctor to have a heart-to-heart with you. Anything that is not understood causes anxiety which, in turn, increases your pain.
Write down a list of questions before going to your next visit. It helps with the overwhelming amount of info you are trying to remember.
Don't hesitate to take a notebook with you to write down his answers.
Pain prevents you from being in the moment because your body is working on controlling it.
