How many years can a person use Reclast safely?

I had Reclast once and it did damage, so I can never take it again. I have heard 2 years and some go 3 only if they don't have the damaging side-effects. You should have your calcium level checked and a 24-hour urine. My doctor is sending patients to an endocrinologist for testing, before she prescribes it. I would be very careful and do your research before taking this drug. Drink plenty of water before and during the infusion if you do take it. I am in the osteoporosis group on Inspire.com. There is a lot of information there that will help you. I hope I have helped you.
