When I was diagnosed with restless leg syndrome, I was put on requip, for a time, and it was wonderful:) Then my insurance refused to pay for it and I was put on ropinerole 3 times a day. It is not working well at all:( I am 71, my husband is 76, we live on a fixed (broken) income and could use a little help getting the requip. Can you help? Here's thanking you in advance, even if you cannot(^+^) Dorothy

GlaxoSmithKline is the manufacturer of the brand name Requip. The generic ropinerole is manufactured by several different pharmaceutical companies.
If you would like to get the Requip from the GSK manufacturer - try here for their patient assistance program. http://www.gskforyou.com/
Also this is a website for many different medications but they can all save you tons of money when it comes to needing a Brand only medication.
This is specifically for Requip.
Good luck - I hope you can find your medication fast.
Requip is manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline.

Best of luck,
Ropinerole is the drug in requip. I know insurances can be a pain, but sometimes your dr can help you get brand if he can prove the generic doesn't work for you. Just in case you need that option.
I just received an email today 2/22/2019 from GSK today and they said
"GlaxoSmithKline no longer provides coupons for Requip. Please contact your pharmacist for further assistance.
If you have further questions concerning GSK or our products, please contact our Response Center at 888-825-5249 during our normal business hours, Monday through Friday 8:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. (Eastern Time)."
