I have had three UTIs in a row and I don't want to make it my fourth. The medical field tells me to take Methenamine Mandalate and the Health Stores say to take D-Mannose. I have started both as of yesterday when I stopped the antibiotic. Don't want to cancel out effects for success!
I wouldnt see any reason why you couldn't. D-Mannose is just a simple sugar that occurs naturally in the body. Taking it just keeps the bacteria from attaching in the urinary tract so that the bacteria flushes out when you urinate. When I have noticed I am starting to get one, I take cranberry capsules and d-mannose and it seems to clear up in no time at all. I hope this helps!
