I just want to start a discussion comparing the 2 generic brands of this medication and if they are equal in terms of quality control and effectiveness. Please this question is only for people who are presently taking either 1 of the 2 brands, have tried them in the past, or are currently taking them.I don't want someones random opinion who have taken them maybe once or twice.I want serious results. If this is the wrong place or page. Then can someone reffer me to the right support group. If not then comment away.
Hi A - I have taken both generics of Hydrocodone. I find that the Watson brand works much better for me. This is just a personal opinion. It seems like the Watson brand breaks down better and is more effective but like I said that's just my opinion. I don't take Hydrocodone anymore but do take generic Soma. Watson is by far more effective for me with the generic Soma also. I don't know if this is what you were looking for in terms of an answer... but there you go. That's my two cents for what it's worth. Hope your holidays are going great. Have a Happy New Year.

I think people may react differently to the same brands and so on, so it's kinda hard to know what to say as "truth". Watson is the best Hydrocodone to me, but they are merging with another co and will be out of production for awhile. I did read today already that Mallinckrot is not a good generic Lortab and that Qualitest is as good as Watson, so there ya go. I just went ahead and got what the drug store had which is Mountain Top. They make me sleepy and a little bombed out, but take care of the pain nicely. I'm going to look for Qualitest, as a few people have said it is the best. Sorry I couldn't help more.
