I take a handful of both psych medication and two for my cholesterol. I am extremely poor so I have to go to government clinics. I have so many side effects I am worried that I might be ruining my health. When I approach my Phsych Dr about them. They prescribe another medicine.I have asked about the amount of drugs I am taking and I feel like they think it's my mental disability and not the additional medication. I even went to my Primary Care Doctor and they shrugged it off as a symptom again of my mental illness. I completed a Interactions Checker and it red flagged several medications. The worst symptom I have is my joints. When I sneeze, cough and breath out too fast my wrist along the veins and joints. It really hurts so my PCP gave me pain meds for it. Any advice? I am happy to send you the list if you want.
I don't know where you live but I live in Quebec, Canada and I get my meds all at the same place. As soon as I have a new med their system checks what I am on against it and they let me know if it interacts with my meds. Also the pharmacists know meds a lot better then doctors do. So any info needed on meds should be directed to them for sure.
Good luck hope you feel better soon!
