My doctor prescribed medrol when I moved from NM (elev. 4000 ft) to CO (5400 ft) and for three months suffered prolonged shortness of breath and excessive bronchial and nasal phlegm while working out, climbing stairs etc. Doses 1 and 2 (6 tabs) and 3 (5) have dried me out, raised my endurance and heartbeat on an elliptical trainer, and made me mildly euphoric. How do I prolong these benefits? They never lasted long after past medrol therapy, and my doctor doesn't seem to have any suggestions.
