I'm prescribed to .5mg of alprazolam, I usually just take it at bedtime to help me sleep because I have a really hard time getting to sleep. I started off on a .25mg dosage and would take 2-3 to get to sleep and after a couple of months it just stopped working so my Dr upped it to .5mg. I've been on that for a couple of months now and now THAT has stopped working, even when I take 4-5 pills! This is getting ridiculous and I just want to sleep! What would interfere with the effectiveness of it? I'm not doing anything different or taking any new meds, and I dont think that a couple of months would effect my tolerance this much. Help, I need sleep!
