Barb; Talk with your doctor if it's been a long time since you have been on these medications and they worked years ago there is a chance that they well work again. It's hard to explain but our body sometimes gets used to the same chemicals that we have been on for a while and just don't work as well. And also, our depression and anxiety go up and down when we are chronic sufferers.Kind of like I have a very hard time around holidays and they almost always have to increase my depression medication or add something to my cocktail as we call it when we take several different medications. It's a lot like where one drug works like a miracle to one person and does nothing for another our systems are all different. OUR CHEMICAL IMBALANCE and how our body chemistry works with the chemistry of the medication and how it breaks down hope this makes sense to you. Anyway yes, when you have not taken a medication for some time and it worked at one time there is a good chance that it well work again when you have not taken it for a while. Best of luck to you have a good chat with your doctor and see. Chuck1957
