like nothing I do helps. I exercise, I'm starting to see my friends again, and started going into stores for the 1st time in years but I'm just so angry and restless that IDK what I might end up doing. I see my psychiatrist tomorrow but I don't wanna say the wrong thing and get put in a temporary hold as that would cost me my job and insurance. Can this be a form of mania manifesting and I'm not depressed but have type of bipolar?
Do yourself a favor and don't try to diagnose yourself. You are an intelligent person and sometimes it's not a positive gift.
You need to be honest with your psychiatrist. It's when we couch our words we get in trouble.
Involuntary admission is when "you are a threat to yourself or others".
The phrase that jumped out at me was "IDK what I may end up doing".
Do NOT say anything that makes you sound out of control or desperate.
Obviously you are getting better !
I know you don't feel it yet.
You are going out into stores!
It IS a big deal.

You are negative thinking and ruminating about your emotions.
We are all different. One is not better than other but staying in the mainstream nowadays is important. Sad but true.
The only thing that is important is how you feel about yourself.
Just from reading your advice, you sound like an intelligent and caring human being.
You are able to work so obviously your job performance is satisfactory.
I get the feeling you are getting yourself all worked up because of the importance of the doc appointment.
Try journaling instead of working. It only takes 10 min but you will have your notes for the appointment. Read them before you get out of the car. Hopefully, it will keep you focused on the words you wrote tonight.
Please... It will get better and you are on the right path.
Hi Luke: My heart goes out to you. Have you found any medication regime lately, or previously, that you might want to return to, to try to relieve your symptoms of frustration, restlessness, and boredom? Something that you can discuss with the doctor, so that you can have some say-so in your treatment? Do you have a doctor that you can trust? It is such a struggle, getting frustrated, while looking for a successful treatment to make you feel better, to feel like yourself again! Sometimes finding the right combination can make a huge difference - something for anxiety/depression/mood swings/anger. I have noticed from some of your posts that you have tried some different remedies. I am hoping that your doctor might review the medications you have tried recently, and from looking at your list, combined with your symptoms, your doctor might be able to come up with a new treatment for you that might start to give you relief. It is so frustrating to have to go for a long period of time with not feeling like yourself, it gets really hard to deal with at times. But what my husband says to me when I get really down and out, "Nothing is as bad as it seems". Sounds too simple but things eventually work out. Please try to be patient in the meantime. I have put you in my prayers. Please stay safe. And keep posting and let us know how you are doing. I have no suggestions at this time, because I think it should be a discussion between you and your doctor at this point. It will all get figured out. Sometimes it just takes more time.
