I've had three UTI's in the past two years that didn't show up on the dip and was given Cipro for as a precaution, only for the doctors office to call me back in two days and say they found an ecoli infection and switch me to macrobid because they said Cipro won't kill the infection. But I was told by different doctors that Cipro can kill ecoli?
