I have menorrhagic anemia and my MD recommended it but I am leary of taking it because one of the side effects listed on the insert is anemia in 5% of the test population.
If they are saying 5% get anemia, its most likely in people who are still bleeding. They have to report any thing that could possibly be a side effect, to the point of the ridiculous. I wouldn't worry too much about it, unless your bleeding gets worse, or doesn't get better. 95% didn't get anemia from it.
