I'm not sure what you're referring to as Shinges scare. Typically an outbreak of Shingles blistering is preceded by extreme pain for 3-4 days in the area where the blistering ultimately occurs.
My understanding is lysine is used with herpes simplex ... cold sores. Shingles is herpes zoster ... not the same thing. For extreme pain on your body which may be pre-Shingles, you need to get a pain, inflammation and anti-viral topical solution on the area ... fast!
