given for herniated disc t7-t8
I took lyrica for chronic pain and yes it worked very well. It took 4 weeks before I got any real relief but it was very effective once it started working for me..
The only problem I had was it made me very forgetful. I had no short term memory at all and hubbie and I got into a few major arguements because I just didnot remember him telling me things. If I didn't write it down I forgot.
I went off after about a year but that year on it really helped as I was able to sleep and my body healed enough that I had very little pain for over a year after going off it.
Unfortunately I fell 6 months ago and fractured 2 vertebrae in my lower back. I'm sure it would help again but my hubbie does not want me to take it again and I can't afford it unless he helps me pay for it.
