There were no sample available at the time we waited a few months before having the prescription filled the $100.00 was a shocking blow but when someone you love is in as much pain for YEARS, you just do it.
I take it that was your copay. If so what insurance do you have, is it medicare? You're not going to recoup that $100 anywhere but you may be able to get assistance in the future, but we need to know if you have medicare. I switched from Lyrica to gabapentin because it was cheaper, and available in generic. I found that gabapentin worked better.
