The plan is to replace my Oxycodone. I am taking 60mg a day and was told to continue this for the time being. I am also taking 20mg of Lorazapam a day for anxiety and Ambien to help me sleep. So many reviews mention dizziness and sleepy side effects and that taking Oxy, Lorazapam and Ambien would intensify these side effects. It sounds like I have the choice of being in pain or being a zombie. Dr also want me to take a muscle relaxer. I am scared to start the new regime.
I take Lyrica, oxycodone, baclofen ( muscle relaxer), amitriptyline (sleep and depression), morphine and savella and I do fine. Before the morphine was added I went to work. The morphine was added 5 months after I stopped working and I take that at night to sleep with less pain. I am still able to function.
Hi, i know how scary starting new medication can be. Some years ago when i was prescribed a new combination of medications, i felt, as you say, like a zombie for months until i got used to them. I know i am a different person than i used to be, however, if i look back, i don't want to be as i was, i am so much more stable now. I would say give the new combination a try, if you don't get on with it you always have the option make adjustments...
I ran your med's through the interactions checker, click on the link below to read through the possibilities...
