... week; symptoms worse. What now? Waiting to hear from doctor. Had diarrhea since June 27th; colonoscopy gave diagnosis. It had improved to once a day of 3 bm until cleared out. Back to 12-14 times daily. Headaches, nausea, fatigue.
Hello, I have had lymphocytic Colitis for several years. I tried Asacol for 2 or 3 years, but when my insurance would not cover it, $700-month was too much so I would switch to pepto bismol, and anti diarrhea medication to treat my constant diarrhea (which I had up to 14 x day.) for several months. I was going in for hydration treatments. A new gasteronaligist recommended Lialda and gave me some samples. I am taking 2 x day for a week now and my diaherrea has stopped. I make sure I take on a full stomach or I get a bit nauseous. I will keep taking Lialda as long as the samples hold out. Cost will be a major factor to determine what I will do at that time.
