It is starting to sting when am hot etc
Check to see if it has a point to it or if it is coming to a head. It sounds like a cyst, or even an ingrown hair follicle. (My bet is the latter). Stinging might mean it's a little infected. It's probably a good idea to consult your doctor or nurse practioner - but of course, it's the weekend.
The best thing for the time being is to try some warm, wet compresses three to four times a day for about 20 minutes. (A warm, wet kitchen towel would do it). Make sure it's NOT too hot. Just warm enough to be soothing. That may help to quiet it down and draw out any infection.
You can also use Witch Hazel pads to tone down the stinging.
You can also use Ibuprofen if the stringing gets more intense.
I hope you feel better.
