Blood results detected low sodium levels
Sodium is bound to chlorine to make Sodium chloride (NaCl) or table salt as everyone knows it. Low Sodium levels can lead to severe muscle cramping as it is an essential electrolyte.
If you are physically healthy and have a normal diet, your sodium levels should be normal. If you consume normal amounts of salt and are not taking a diuretic or otherwise losing large amounts of salt, in sweat for example, see your doctor. Low Sodium is far rarer than elevated levels (kidneys are pretty good at regulating body salt levels).
PS. what were your Potassium (K) levels like?
