What happens if I take losartan and I don't have any diabetes or kidney disease?

Nothing since its for high blood pressure. Maybe if you rephrase the question I'll get it.

Prior to being diagnosed with Pre-Diabetes, I was given Losartan Potassium for HBP. It worked fine. However, there are some diabetes pills that cause reactions so be certain to research carefully. Also, my husband has a kidney transplant and his kidney doc prescribed Losartan Htz for him. There are different strengths of Losartan please note.
