My doctor prescribed levocetrizine 5 mg for my 12 years old kid who has sinitist ,but it is not viable in the drug store , can I replace it with loratadine 10 mg . ?
Levocetirizine is used in the treatment of allergies; hay fever; urticaria and belongs to the drug class antihistamines.
Loratadine is used in the treatment of hay fever; urticaria and belongs to the drug class antihistamines.
Both belong to the same drug class, and have the same uses. But I would still run it by your Dr. first.
