Should loratadine 10mg and montelukast sod 5mg be used at the same time for a six year old?

I take both these drugs and there are no interactions that I've ever read of. Montelukast should always be taken at night and most allergies get worse in the day as you're around more of them so I take my loretadine in the morning. If your child needs them at night I'd check with a pharmacist. They are a fountain of knowledge. I always double check new meds with them even if prescribed by my doctor as they have the most up to date info.
