I'm finally fed up with being 20-30 pounds over weight. I'm 17 years old, and I see a nutritionist every once in a while.
What I've read is that cardio everyday (especially in the morning) can raise one's metabolism. So, that's what I've been doing: 30-40 minutes a day walking at a brisk pace. I've also been following my nutritionist's advice on servings/healthy foods.
My question is: if I do all this, yet stay fairly inactive throughout the day, will it be effective? (Inactive meaning, I'm not one who bikes/walks everywhere and I tend to be lazy.)
[[I'd really like to avoid doing a lot of time-consuming exercise.]]
