My doctor put me on it to aid digestion of food because of my ibs. I have particals of food within bowel movement and often floats at the surface of toilet water. Everything I eat seems to go through me more so while taking this medication , will the loose stool stop?
Yes, it may, however Creon is for pancreatic issues not irritable bowl syndrome. Have you had a colonoscopy recently or a barium test of your upper gastrointestinal body?
I have a form of IBS - specifically mild colitis. After a colonoscopy I was prescribed Lialda which immediately helped my bowel movements.
Check with your doctor and pose these questions to him if you haven't had these procedures.
