ok, but have intense cravings for opiods, subs. Anxiety and mood swings. depressed, no ambition. I loved being on suboxone, it took all these feelings away, and i am having a hard time with the reality of being off of them forever, because I am afraid I will never feel good, be happy again. Any insite would be appreciated. thanks.
Looking for some advice, you seem quite informed on suboxone. I detoxed from it 12 days ago. Doing?

Dear Wendysue, It would be helpful if you could hit comment and add some info. How long were you on subs and how fast did you come off. Why did you come off. Have you done any addiction therapy. You probably could benefit from an anti depressant and some counseling with a therapist who is experienced with subs. Some walking or other lite regular exercise would also help, if you are physically able. I am Not a health nut, i have come off subs and the exercise will produce endorphins, it helps make you feel better. Mpvt gave me that advice and it really helped. Congrats on your Major Accomplishment there. Come here for support, that will help too. pattishan
I agree. If you could add some info for Patti, she'll be able to help you out more. She's our resident subdoc here and has helped countless people. Try not to increase activity too late in the evening. It might make it more difficult to sleep. I know it sounds hard, but try to get yourself in to a good routine each morning. Focus on energy, eating well, activities, and visit this site often for support. Good luck to you.
best wishes,
chris
Wendysue, The advice about coming here for support is extremely valuable. I am currently coming off suboxone. I don't always post but just reading the other posts helps. Good to know others have done this and made it through, and these wd won't last forever. The people on here are wonderful, supportive, and care. They have helped me tremendously. And congratulations on the decision to get off the opiates surfdog

Hi
I agree with patti and chris, move that body!! Also, an antidepressant may help, it sure helped me, yet I only needed one for a short time.
Good luck, and keep us posted,
