What's the longest time a GBM patient has managed to stay alive on Avastin infusions? My husband is 62, had over 70% of the brain tumor removed in July, had radiation and Temodar. Now, he just started the Avastin Infusions 2xmonth, but he's very VERY weak on the legs, very lethargic and with diminishing vision. Thank you for any info you can provide.

My husband also has Type 2 Diabetes and the 6mgs. of Decadron that he takes daily to minimize or prevent brain swelling, elevates his glucose. He's taking more pills of Glipizide and Metformin, because he never wants to go on insuline. Anybody there with the same or similar 2 problems? (GBM and Type2 Diabetes).
