I had the nexplanon for two and a half years. I had it removed a week ago to switch to a different birth control (depo). I have to wait a week before getting the shot, which is in a few days. My husband and I had unprotected sex (sorry for the tmi), and he came in me. What are the chances of me being pregnant and should I go ahead with the depo shot or wait?
Do not have the Depo Shot! Not until you know for SURE that you're not pregnant. You are not covered against pregnancy once it's been removed. Depo Provera is debated to cause harm to an unborn child (mixed medical opinions), & therefore you need to know for certain that you are not pregnant, before you get the Shot.
