It's a great thing to have a medicine work that long! Your liver has to break down any toxins and eliminate the drug from your body through your renal (kidneys, bladder, ureters, urinary tract) system. If you've had any normal liver function tests recently, you know you're fine. That means anytime in the past year. The testing is usually called a complete metabolic panel or CMP. Check with your Dr. if you aren't sure.
