I've been on Victoza for 14 months now and have lost 35 pounds. It has been an amazing drug for me for my weight loss. I was wondering if anyone has been on Victoza for over 1 year and if the weight is still coming off? I've noticed that I do get hungry now and I'm wondering if the Victoza is still working for me? When I first started, I had no appetite and I do again.
It's a great drug. I am now on year three and at a half dose. In this time I have gone to type II to no trace of diabetes as well gone from 535lbs to 336lbs. I will admit this I have a loss of appetite however it was well worth the choice of not having surgery.. Hope this helps
I started taking Victoza as a weight loss in October 2015. By July 2016 I had lost 46 lbs. I then noticed it wasn't working anymore, quit smoking, had surgery and gained back 34 lbs. I have been off it since October 2016. I'm hoping to try it again now that smoking and surgery are behind me, I can back into exercising faithfully.
