.Hello. Three years ago, my son who is now 9, got stung by a jellyfish. It left him a scar on his leg. Every 4 to 6 months a liquid comes out of the scar and then after a week it goes away. What is this? Doctor say this is an allergic reaction. I m not totally convinced,. Is this normal ? What shall I do ?
How long it takes for a jellyfish scar to disappear?

I m sorry, It s not a liquid that comes out. He gets rash and little bubbles, covering an area almost like a Dollar quarter appear. The area becomes like purple. Doctor prescribed Fluocinonide Cream USP, 0.05%.
We were rubbing him a cream called Dactakort ( from Lebanon) but we cannot find it here in Los Angeles. Thank you for reading
What does they liquid look like? Does it have an odor? Does the area around the scar get red?
