I had a 2nd degree relative who had unexplained sudden death age 46. I am 56 and am taking Fluoxatine. Should I continue to take this medication? Can it induce LQT? Or is it likely to be genetic?
weezie; Keep taking your medications just because something happend to a relative back a generation or so it's you that you have to worry about and it sounds like you are having the doctors keep on eye on you. YOU Have no more chances taking fluoxitine than if you were not taking it. Just make sure you keep all your medical records up to date.
