I restarted Levaquin 250mg tablets BID after taking a 10 day break. I have been taking them now for 27 days and was prescribed Diflucan for candida. I know the two can interact so my dosage instructions were to take 1x150mg tablet once a week on the weekends. I took both of my Levaquin dosages on Saturday not knowing what my instructions were going to be for the Diflucan. So can I take my 1 Diflucan for the week tomorrow on Sunday or should I just wait until Monday or longer to take the Diflucan?
What are you treating with this crazy schedule? Did the same dr order both meds or at least did the drs know what else you're on? The levaquin takes 30 hrs to be out of your body but are you then done with the levaguin because the diflucan can stay in your body 150 hrs. Did you talk to your pharmacist about it. The dr may be considering the interaction and knows you can probably deal with one if it does occur.
